Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TalkPia mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TalkPia. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You must provide a valid phone number for verification.

You may only register one account per phone number.

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TalkPia to:

Spam or harass — Send unsolicited messages or harass other users.

Illegal content — Transmit content that violates copyright, privacy, or other applicable laws.

Impersonation — Impersonate any person or entity.

Unauthorized access — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure.

Malware — Distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful software.

Service disruption — Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the App's services.

Content

You retain ownership of content you send through TalkPia. By using the App, you grant TalkPia a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.

Intellectual Property

The TalkPia name, logo, and App are owned by TalkPia and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TALKPIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CALL QUALITY DEPENDS ON YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TALKPIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time directly in the app via Settings → Delete Account; deletion is immediate and permanent.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
